Our local guide, Lois Moss, is the former treasurer of The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon and a Master Gardener through Oregon State University. Her previous careers included being a CPA with an international accounting firm, a financial analyst for one of the world’s largest shopping mall developers, an entrepreneur who co-founded a chain of bicycle stores and founder of a non-profit that focuses on cycling and pedestrian advocacy. An avid traveler her entire life who began gardening in her late 40s, horticulture has been life-changing. After leading a number of tours to other places, she is now focusing on tours to highlight the world-class gardens and horticulture of America’s Pacific Northwest.
