Gavin grew up in a horticultural family based in north London – both his parents are avid gardeners and his mother taught floral art. He has studied botany, herbalism, geology and history amongst other things and speaks French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Gavin established the European clientele of a company creating designer couture jewellery and operates his own website offering tour consultancy services.
